Synthesis of lipophilic glycosides of O-(N-acetylglucosaminyl)-(β1→4)-N-acetylmuramoyl-L-alanyl-D-isoglutamine

Abstract: N-Acyl-ω-aminoalkanols were obtained by N-acylation of 2-aminoethanol-l and 6-aminohexanol-l with hexadecanoic and 2-dodecyltetradecanoic acids and glycosylated with the oxazoline derivative of glucosaminylmuramic acid. The disaccharide glycosides obtained were used to synthesize β-(N-acyl-ω-aminoalkyl)glycosides of GMDP.
